OUR AIRPORT SERVICE TAKES OFF AGAIN INTERNATIONNALLY !
After a period slowed down by the pandemic, our Airport service is regaining momentum abroad. More and more projects are underway particularly in Jordan (Amman), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), the Sultanate of Oman (Musandam), and Rwanda (Kamembe). This revival reflects the renewed trust of our partners and our ability to support airport development well beyond France.

SALALAH AIRPORT : A NEW MILESTONE ACHIEVED
As part of our growing collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Oman, our team presented the conceptual design in September for the conversion and refurbishment of the parallel taxiway G to Runway 07R/25L at Salalah Airport.

This stage brought together key stakeholders — airport authorities, ATC controllers, airlines, and flight procedure planning teams — to align the project vision and anticipate operational needs and future growth.
A great example of our ongoing commitment in Oman and our ability to support large-scale projects that contribute to the region’s aviation development.

CGX AERO AND AFPP : COLLABORATION EXTENDED UNTIL 2028
The ICAO African Flight Procedures Programme (AFPP) has renewed its trust in CGX AERO by extending the maintenance of its flight procedure design software tools, GéoTITAN® and Data4Flight®, for a period of three years, until 2028.
Beyond software support, this strengthened partnership will allow us to continue supporting the AFPP on AIM-related topics and to actively contribute to the safety and security of African airspace.
CGX AERO SUPPORTS RAC WITH AERONAUTICAL DATA MODERNIZATION

Rwanda Airport Company (RAC) has entrusted CGX AERO with the revision of all basic aeronautical information for the country’s airports in order to update its AIXM database.
In particular, CGX AERO will provide RAC with a complete update of WGS84 surveys, AMDB charts for the five regional airfields of the country, and will also be responsible for reviewing the procedures of Kamembe and Rubavu airports.
At the same time, CGX AERO will train RAC staff in obstacle survey techniques and the measurement of aeronautical objects, enabling them to achieve full autonomy at the end of the project in maintaining these data in operational condition.
CGX AERO CONTINUES ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH CROATIA CONTROL LTD. (CCL)

Following the recent deployment of the Data4Flight® obstacle evaluation module, which facilitates the management of ICAO surfaces (Annexes 14 and 15) and obstacle analysis, CCL is extending the maintenance of its AIM system, including:
Data4Flight®: management of the AIXM 5.1 database and obstacles
AIM4Flight®: workflow tool and interoperability with the European Database (EAD)
AIM Portal: web platform for selling AIP products and visualizing aeronautical data and NOTAMs

The AIM system in Croatia will continue to evolve:
End of 2025: deployment of AIP-GIS Charting® to generate and publish aeronautical charts in full compliance with ICAO Annex 4, and support for ACADIA CP1 compliance, with a new version of the AIM Portal enabling import and visualization of Digital NOTAMs.
2026: further enhancement of the AIM system with interoperability towards eEAD.
This partnership demonstrates CGX AERO’s commitment to supporting CCL in deploying comprehensive AIM solutions in full compliance with international standards, while modernizing their systems and workflows.
ANTICIPATING TOMORROW, TODAY

On 4 August 2025, the ICAO’s revised obstacle regulations were promulgated, updating the traditional Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) and introducing Obstacle Evaluation Surfaces (OES) as well as Obstacle Free Surfaces (OFS). This represents an important milestone for the industry, requiring adaptation from airports and their partners.
Our Airport service is already preparing to support clients through this transition. This approach is part of a broader, integrated strategy in synergy with our other areas of expertise:
Our software service, with the evolution of Data4Flight®, our tool for modeling and analyzing Annex 14 surfaces, to integrate the new standards.
Our procedure design service, which is already developing concrete solutions to address the new challenges posed by OES.
By mobilizing all our competencies, we ensure a smooth transition for our clients, fully compliant with international standards, ahead of the applicability date set for 21 November 2030.
MUSSANDAM AIRPORT TAKES SHAPE : VALUE ENGINEERING IN ACTION

Our team participated in a 4-day Value Engineering (VE) workshop for the Mussandam project, aimed at creating a new airport in a challenging environment, both in terms of topography and airspace constraints.
Alongside RENARDET, we presented the ongoing studies for the project. External experts reviewed our proposals, asked questions, and suggested improvements or alternative options.
This constructive exchange helped strengthen the reflection on technical and operational solutions while reinforcing collaboration among all stakeholders involved in this strategic project.
