Although CGX AERO was founded in 2004, the adventure began in 1996 with CGX Système, a company specializing in the supply of technological solutions including aeronautics and defense. The transition to CGX AERO enabled the company to focus its activities on the design and development of expert tools and services dedicated to civil and military aviation authorities, airports and air operators.
These 20 years of success testify not only to the quality of the services provided, but also to the company's ability to anticipate the needs of an ever-changing sector. Our approach, supported by an expert and passionate team, is based on an attentive ear to the needs of each customer and an ability to adapt to local and international specificities, which has enabled us to establish a lasting relationship of trust with our customers and partners.
This success is also a collective success: since its inception, CGX AERO has cultivated a team spirit and a sense of commitment that have become fundamental values in our operations, and our employees are the real strength of the company.
As we celebrate two decades of success, we are already looking to the future. Building on what we have already achieved, we want to continue to broaden our scope and strengthen our role in the aeronautical sector. Innovation, the transition to greener aviation and safety will remain the cornerstones of our next stages of development.
MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR NIORT and VICHY AERODOMES
For several years now, CGX AERO has been offering airport operators personalized support in maintaining their flight procedures and keeping their platforms in compliance with ICAO and EASA operational standards.
Long-term collaboration with our customers is part of our philosophy, and in addition to reviewing mandatory procedures, our team of experts can provide support in terms of technical advice and tailor-made decision-making to facilitate the day-to-day operations of our customers' platforms.
In this respect, we were delighted to receive a double vote of confidence from two AFIS airfields.
Firstly, Niort airfield has renewed its loyalty to us by signing a new maintenance contract for the next 5 years. This contract will ensure that the Niort airfield complies with IR-PBN requirements until 2029, and that it can already look forward to updating its obstacle file and revising its trajectories every five years.
A newcomer to the CGX family, the Vichy aerodrome has shown its confidence in us by asking us to update its obstacle file and revise its RNP procedure. Again, with a view to complying with the IR-PBN, CGX AERO will be responsible for implementing the LNAV/VNAV minima currently absent from the procedure and coordinating with the customer the removal of the VZ NDB.

SOFTWARE CHANGEOVER AT AIRNAV IRELAND
Back in 2001, the Irish Civil Aviation Authority (IAA) introduced the GeoTITAN® expert flight procedure design tool.
Twenty years later, following the creation of AirNav Ireland, the air traffic management service provider for Irish airspace, the collaboration with CGX AERO is evolving.
Two solutions, better adapted to current operational needs, will now be equipping this new entity from this autumn:
Data4Flight®, dedicated to the management of aeronautical data and facilitating interoperability through the exchange of aeronautical data, and
Airspace4Flight® for the creation of airspaces and routes directly in the Data4Flight® database.

The entire CGX AERO team thanks AIRNAV for this renewed cooperation and trust.
NEW DEVELOPMENTS FOR MUSCAT AIRPORT'S SOUTHERN RUNWAY
Following on from the first milestone of the implementation of brand-new Performance Based Navigation procedures (STARs and approaches) for the new southern runway at Muscat International Airport launched by the Oman Civil Aviation Authority last May, CGX AERO has continued the development of new trajectories for the southern runway, with the delivery of VORDME procedures.
Work is continuing on the ILS approaches, which required the conclusions of the in-flight calibration to ensure the construction parameters were met.

Muscat airport will therefore be fully operational by 2025 with a complete trajectory system in both conventional and PBN to ensure full control of operations and operational hazards.
ETOD AND AMDB TRAINING FOR THAI CIVIL AVIATION
CGX AERO was pleased to welcome to its premises members of the Aeronautical Information Service of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) for a week's training on eTOD (electronic Terrain Obstacle Data) and AMDB (Airport Mapping DataBase), co-hosted by ENAC (French Civil Aviation University) and CGX AERO.
The theoretical part of the first two days was lectured by the aeronautical expert in AIS to AIM and eTOD and trainer from ENAC: the various stages of the transition from AIS to AIM as well as the technological changes required to achieve this were r reviewed, including the use of AIXM, a key element in the transition. Emphasis was then placed on the principles of eTOD, the relevant ICAO requirements, airport obstacle zones and collection techniques.

The second part of the training, was definitely more practical and operational enabled the CAAT team to work on a practical case based on an eTOD project carried out by CGX AERO with the usage of Data4Flight® tools dedicated to aeronautical data management and AIM4Flight®, the web interoperability, workflow and data traceability platform to deal with this specific case. With the support of our teams specialising in eTOD acquisition, the CAAT was able to get to grips with the realities of the field and pragmatic solutions for data validation.
At the end of the week's training, participants were able to familiarize themselves with eTOD requirements, understand how to implement an effective eTOD survey campaign and learn how to better define their eTOD needs.
