After 2012 and the creation of #RNP-APCH LNAV procedures on the aerodrome carried out jointly with the Wallis and Futuna Islands State Civil Aviation Service #SEAC/WF, #CGX AERO has again been mandated to carry out the revision of these procedures and the creation of #Baro-VNAV minima.
This addition will improve IFR operations and reinforce flight safety on the Futuna Pointe Vélé aerodrome operated by the Public Works Department of the Wallis and Futuna Islands Territory.
The collaboration between the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, the SEAC/WF and CGX AERO is continuing on this platform with a feasibility study aiming at setting up a lighting system. If this project becomes a reality, a new step will be taken in the development of the airfield with the opening of night operations.
