Prerequisite(s)
Master the vocabulary of airport infrastructures and have a basic knowledge of airports.

This course provides a structured and operational overview of the EASA regulatory framework and its application to airport certification and operations. The training follows the structure below :
Understanding the EASA regulatory framework
Structure of the regulations and alternative means of compliance (SC, DAAD, ELOS)
Key infrastructure requirements (CS)
Key operational requirements (OR/OPS)
Expected regulatory developments
Maintaining the EASA certificate
Management systems (SMS and compliance monitoring): essential principles
Focus on compliance monitoring: regulatory watch, audits, corrective actions follow-up
Coordination with third parties
Competency monitoring
Change management – Part 1
Definition of a change
Methods for assessing change compliance (CS, OR/OPS)
Updating the certification database
Change management – Part 2
EISA and risk analysis
Key elements for conformity assessment (lighting, aeronautical clearances, radio-electric easements, etc.)
